Issue 7: The Boneyard
Autumn 2024
Dear Readers,
I’m super excited to share Issue 7: The Boneyard with you all! This issue feels quite personal to me, given the challenges I faced in the past year. The 'Boneyard' theme feels like the perfect way to let go of the decay of the past and move forward. Just as we all must mourn and move on from our own boneyards, this issue invites you to explore themes of eerie beauty, haunting stories, and dark, evocative art.
We’ve packed this edition with creepy tales, haunting fantasy pieces, and beautiful, eerie art. Last issue, I was blown away not only by the volume and quality of the art submissions but also by the incredible poetry and prose. While Moss Puppy has always received stunning poetry and prose, this issue stands out for the significant increase in prose submissions. We’ve included more prose pieces than usual, and I think they really shine in this issue. From non-human perspectives to deeply moving nonfiction, there’s something for everyone.
Much love, and as always, stay mossy.
